Cape Cod 2008

I can't in good conscience start posting pictures from this summer's east coast trip knowing I haven't posted any from LAST summer's trip! So, three posts traveling back in time...Cape Cod, New Jersey and Cohasset visits from last July/August, 2008.

Sue and Anna had lots of bonding time last year. Super cute.

This was a cute little game where that green thing spun around and the kids jump over it, while it plays the flight of the bumblebee. Abby would really catch some air! Cate, on the other hand, liked the "never take both feet off the ground at the same time" approach.

Ice cream night! We ventured to a different ice cream place than usual. Have to say, I actually liked it better! Is that sacrilege? Sorry, family tradition!

This game occupied many people's time...and I still have no idea what they were doing. All I know is it took a lot of concentration. And they lined up, then walked to the house, then lined up, then walked to the house, over and over and over.

Cohasset Visit Summer 2008

Cohasset, MA is the town where Nate's parents grew up and where his grandparents still live. It is one of our most favorite places on earth. Here are some shots from our time spent there last summer, 2008!

One afternoon, Pat, Grammy and I went on a stroll through Hingham to see the cute shops...and randomly ran into Pat's best bud from high school! It was really nice seeing Jody and she gave Cate a beautiful rose.

We went to the carousel in Hull. The girls loved it. Abby loved it too much...she went into a deep depression when she had to say goodbye to her horse. The ice cream was part of the treatment to help her out of the funk...it kind of worked. She really loved that horse.

A very magical fun house mirror...changes your clothes and hair color as well as your body shape!

Aunt Janet came down for a visit. It's always a delight to see Janet.
