anna, said something equally as cute, but not quite so "awwwwww" inspiring. she received this purple striped sweater for christmas from someone in the family (any takers?).
I think it's adorable and try to dress her in it frequently. since Day 1 she gets mad whenever I put it on. I wasn't entirely sure why. but apparently she now has the words to express herself. today when I pulled it out of the drawer she told me, "sweater not pretty!" I wrestled it on her anyway. what does she know about pretty? she's two.
(post addendum - 5 minutes after I hit publish, guess who came and put a purple striped sweater on my desk?)

Two is when Clara started getting very opinionated about clothes. Lucie is still pretty easy going... but I just know that first "Nope, not wearing that!" is just around the corner!
I love how two year olds already have their opinions on fashion and pretty much everything. Anna is beautiful! You have darling girls. We miss you guys! Good luck with managing apartments. What a great opportunity, but I bet you are one busy girl!
OK... now you will probably never find out who gave A the sweater since it is "not pretty". She is so funny and Cate - has a way with words, like all Wallins (and some Maynards).
